Araella Update

Lot’s of you have reached out and offered your support and requested ways you can help Rae, I’m very proud of how selfless you all are and how much you want to make things better for others. It says a lot about the character of our team the way you rally to help a teammate in need, some who never even had the opportunity to play with Rae.  We are continuing to look for ways to show Rae she’s not alone and that we are here for her. Unfortunately  it’s expensive to get sick so one of the needs that quickly comes up is money to that end they have built a Go Fund me page to help support Rae financially.

Even if you can’t give money just spreading the word on social media can help get the message out to those who can.  We will continue to keep you posted as news comes in and let you know of other opportunities to help.

$13,023.89 to Wounded Warrior Project

Our final donation number is in and our Assisting Our Defenders week raised an amazing $13,023.89!  Thank you to the players that sold those t shirts, our parents that donated food, gave donations in our donation jars.  We could not have done this without everyone’s help!  The LL League lacrosse teams should be proud of what we did and what a difference our donation will make to our wounded service men and women!

Yesterday Elizabethtown hosted L-S for a fun filled day of 6 lacrosse games. From our youth games going on for Etown Community Lax Day to our Assisting Our Defenders games we had an overwhelming response all day with lax fans!

The Etown HS boys lax teams raised an outstanding $695 in donation jars and $1220 in food concession with half going to WWP. Special thank you to Jodi and Gina for all the work they put in to each concession this week which allowed Etown to raise $929 from food concession.

We are still waiting on a few teams to send in their additional amounts they raised but our current total stands at over $12,000!

Special thank you to all of our players, parents and coaching staff for supporting the boys yesterday and all of  our Etown Lax programs!
